Joey De Leon tweeted about Korina Sanchez issues "Sana sa Japan na lang."

On the December 3, 2014 episode of TV Patrol about the typhoon Ruby International name "Hagupit", news anchor Korina Sanchez was critisized after she said why not the typhoon Ruby will change its directions going to Japan instead of going through the Visayas area of the Philippines.

Before they close the program, the anchors do their casual conversations about the day's news and issues before they close the program. This was their conversation that Korina Sanchez was criticized on her statements.

Korina: Kaya pa natin idasal yan para lumihis
Noli de Castro: Sana ay hati na lang tayo. Kalahati sa Pilipinas, kalahati sa Japan.
Korina: Puwede bang sa kanilang lahat?
Noli:Wag naman.
Korina: Sa kanila na lang lahat. Parang mas kaya nila

The coronation of Miss Earth 2014 was held last  November 29, 2014 at the UP theater in the Philippines.


Jamie Herell was crowned Miss Earth Philippines Cebu City last May 11, 2014 at the Mall of Asia Pasay City.

Miss Earth 2014 is a 19 years of age and she is student at International Academy for FIlm and Television at University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City.


 The winning answer of Jamie Herell from the questions "Do you think that we, human beings, have been good children to Mother Earth?". Asked by the  the former Akbayan lawmaker Risa Hontiveros.

She answered the questions with confidence to herself and she said "Honestly, in my opinion, we haven’t been good children. In fact, I believe that we are the number one cause of her problems, we are the reason why we're having climate change, and we are the reason why we're having floods. But in return, if w e can only help her and salvage her, she will help us back and take care of us too."
